It is the first new SLD to be introduced since Nominet started operating the .uk Registry in 1996.

.me.uk will work exactly the same way on the Internet as a .co.uk or .ltd.uk
The me.uk Second Level Domain is intended for personal use. Domain Name registrations made under .uk are expected to be made for 'natural persons', such as Mr John Doe registering johndoe.me.uk.
Registrations will be made on a first-come, first served basis but Names.co Internet are please to offer a pre-registration system.
By pre-regsitering your desired names for just £2.00 VAT each, we will submit your aplication(s) the minute the registry goes live to give you the best chance of acquiring your .me.uk domain(s)
